Professor Walter Woon

Professor Walter Woon was educated at the National University of Singapore (LL.B 1st Class Honours, 1981) and Cambridge University (LL.M 1st Class Honours, 1983). He was formerly Attorney-General of Singapore. In 2011 he was inducted as an Honorary Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Directors. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Monetary Authority of Singapore and two listed companies, Intraco Ltd and Natsteel Ltd. Professor Woon was Chairman of the Steering Committee for Review of the Singapore Companies Act and Special Counsel to the Steering Committee for the Re-writing of the Taiwan Company Act.
