Description
The aim of this title is to provide practitioners with a narrative guide which mirrors the various procedural stages of an arbitration process. This second edition has the advantage of viewing the process after a number of years of the Act being in force and to feed the author’s experience into their expert advice here.
There is a significant new chapter on interim remedies which takes account of various changes to Institutional Rules. This is added to by another new chapter on arbitration clauses and one on dealing with the Tribunal. All chapters are fully updated and now have an enhanced emphasis and additional commentary of the practice side, including examples and styles. This text is designed to guide both Scottish Arbiters who are conducting international cases and international Arbiters looking to conduct work in Scotland.
This book contains a CD of relevant styles for each procedural stage, allowing the user to download these forms and use them in their own daily work.
