Arissa Ahrom is currently a Senior Associate in the Employment & Industrial Relations practice group at Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill. She handles a high volume of industrial relations disputes in the Industrial Court up to the apex Courts, involving unfair dismissal claims by employees. As a niche, Arissa also advises employers on issues of compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, particularly from an employment perspective. Apart from being a contributing editor to the Annotated Statutes of Malaysia – Industrial Relations Act 1967 (2021 update) and the Annotated Statutes of Malaysia – Trade Unions Act 1959 (2021 update), Arissa is also a co-author of the LexisAdvance Practical Guidance Malaysian Employment Module. Arissa read law at Queen’s University of Belfast and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2017. Subsequently, she was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2018. Arissa is also a member of the Honourable Society of Middle Temple.

Nurul Aisyah Hassan is a Partner in the Employment and Industrial Relations Practice Group of LHAG. She read law at the University of Exeter and has been called to both the English and Malaysian Bars. Aisyah was also conferred withon an LLM in Litigation and Dispute Resolution from University College London. She regularly represents employers in industrial and civil court disputes, focusing on unfair dismissal claims and breaches of employment contracts.

Shariffullah Majeed is a Partner in the Employment and Industrial Relations Practice Group of LHAG. He graduated with an LLB (Hons) from the International Islamic University of Malaysia in 2008. The following year, he was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya. Shariff’s background includes working in tandem with clients ranging from multinational companies to government-linked companies. While his primary areas of practice are industrial relations and employment law, Shariff also defends civil claims arising from employment contracts.
